The Possibilities Series was a new platform that we tried out for engaging parents in authentic and open conversations with employer-parents about their children and the future. To extend the reach, we streamed the session live on MOE’s Facebook – another first for us.
The event showed that there was interest and hunger for such interactions, with over 230 parents at the event and another 7,300 views on FB live. All in all, more than 400 questions were received from parents on various issues related to the future of work, education, parenting and more.
From this one event, we also gathered enough video footage, interviews and story leads that gave us an estimated $75,000 in terms of media value (in terms of stories, videos, and engagement), at the cost of less than a cup of coffee for each person engaged. ​​​​​​​
