As part of the SG50 celebrations, MOE held a roving exhibition titled “Good Morning 'Cher: Our Schools, Our Teachers, Our Stories”. A showcase of our education journey over the past 50 years, the exhibition featured key policy highlights and our pioneer educators’ contributions. Held across the four corners of Singapore, the exhibition reached out to 55,515 visitors over 12 days from Jul to Aug 2015.
Key objectives of the exhibition:
- Honour the pioneers who served with MOE
- Showcase what the pioneers accomplished with the limited resources during the early stages of nation building
- Engage the public by creating an emotional connection through shared experiences and triggering conversations
- Draw a link between the past and present and inspire hopes for the future.
